Loved it! I finished it almost in one sitting. Another winner from author Linda Castillo. This series gets better with each book. If you’re already a fan of police chief Kate Burkholder put Breaking Silence on your auto buy list (June 2011) or stop by your favorite online retailer and hit the pre-order button. If you’re not a fan you should be. Trust me you will not be disappointed. This is one series I recommend you read in order so you have Kate’s back story.

You’ve convinced me – I’m adding this series to my wish list.
I knew sooner or later I’d convince you.
So glad to see that this one is good too! I love this author and I am glad to see she won again!
It’s the best of the bunch.
Ms. Castillo can tell a great story. Flaws and all I love Chief Burkholder. And setting the stories in the Amish community adds interest because of their beliefs.
Ugh! I hated this book! Flimsy story telling, it’s all very weak, even the “romance” between the main characters.
If you want good mysteries read Jo Nesbo, Mo Hayder, Michael Connelly, or Ian Rankin.
